Data Journalism Training (in collaboration with Mersa Media Institute)
Acatech partnered with the Mersa Media Institute to deliver a capacity-building program for journalists on modern data-driven reporting. The training covered data storytelling, visualization, and basic web-scraping techniques, with hands-on exercises using Python packages. Participants included journalists from leading Ethiopian media outlets such as Ethiopian Reporter, Addis Fortune, Walta, and FANA, enhancing their ability to analyze datasets and communicate insights effectively.
Upgrading Sandford International School Information Management Database
- Migrated data from old to new system.
- Updated Learning Resource Center (LRC) policies.
- Provided training, user manuals, and technical documentation.
